We are currently recruiting for a competitive individual for an Insurance Broker - Account Executive position to join a growing team of highly successful and fast moving team of business development professionals. The insurance broker will be responsible for finding new customers, promoting and selling new insurance plans and forging long-term relationships to increase growth of new clients and continued success. Recent college graduates and entry-level talent are encouraged to apply.
What You Will Be Doing
- Invent effective marketing strategies to sell insurance plans to new clients or up-sell to current clients
- Gauge the condition of business or individual customers and discover plans according to their requirements
- Use methods such as networking, cold calling, and more to spot opportunities and cultivate trust with potential customers
- Coordinate services between the accounts customers, brokers, claims, loss control and accounting
- Retain and renew bookkeeping systems, database and records
- Oversee insurance claims to ensure fair dealing and satisfaction
- Monitor loss control plans and other service plans to ensure that the customer is receiving the services that have been promised. Encourage use of all programs by demonstrating cost savings
- Present issues and opportunities that affect efficient services, profit and growth opportunities, and the promotion of specific insurance products
- Help the developing and delivering a comprehensive plan consultation
- Work within specific underwriting limits and authority on account assignments that require technical knowledge and additional consulting
